The company took a steamboat from Brunnen to Lucerne (a city noted for its medieval architecture and magnificent snow-capped Alps), stopping for lunch on Lake Lucerne. While traveling on the lake, everyone noticed the vibrant colored buildings that lined the lakeshore.
