Advanced Manufacturing - Be and remain innovative
This year's symposium on the topic of ‘Advanced Manufacturing - being and remaining innovative’ presented solutions for Swiss companies to remain competitive and sustainable despite current challenges such as energy costs, a shortage of skilled labor and stricter regulations. It presented ways in which advanced manufacturing can contribute to strengthening Swiss industry.
A key aspect of this strengthening is digitalization. Christian Schmid, CEO, focused on this topic in his speech and presented a practical guide to the successful implementation of a data strategy in manufacturing companies. Using concrete examples from practice, he illustrated how other companies are successfully implementing these strategies. Afterwards, many interested parties took the opportunity to stop by the EPS table stand and discuss open questions in a personal dialogue.
